The ingenious manual pepper grinder is divided into 2 compartments: the upper one is for fine, ground salt, and the lower compartment,of higher capacity, is used to store the peppercorns to be ground.

In the case of pepper grinders, the mechanism is provided with 2spiral-shaped rows of steel teeth, which grip and guide the peppercorns for a perfect grind.

At the top, the grinder has a knob to adjust the granulation. Rotate clockwise for finer grind and counterclockwise for coarser grind.

What type of peppercorns is recommended?

Black, white or green peppercorns, dried, hard, with a maximum diameter of about 5 mm, are recommended. Pink peppercorns can only be used in a mixture (maximum 15% of pink pepper) with any of the above-mentioned types of pepper. Also, dried coriander seeds can be used in the Peugeot peppercorn grinders.

The grinder can also be used as a SALT SHAKER; the upper compartment is NOTintended for coarsesalt and does NOT work like a grinder.
