Oils (fats) used during cooking will penetrate the pores of the matt enamel and create asmooth natural non-stick surface.That is why theStaub cookware gets better and better as the years go by, as you use them.

On the outside,the cooking pot has at least2-3 layersof special enamel that, in combination with special cast iron, ensures an optimal distribution of heat over the entire surface of the dish.
