The vitreous enamel, the material used forthe outer finishingof theLavacast ironcookwareis obtained by spraying glass powder at temperatures of750 - 850°C.The glass powder adheres to the surface of thecookwarecreating a protective layer that also helps to optimally distribute heat.

The base of the saucepan has thickness of4,5mm, whichmakes possibleforLavacookware to be usableon all types of hobs, including induction hobs.
